The controller itself is very nice, I find pretty much all controllers do their basic job especially at these a bit more premium levels. So for me it boils down to how the controllers feels in the hand and secondarily feature sets. And this controller so far is one of my favorites, the shape and plastics feel nice hold.
All the buttons including the "extra" ones feel nice and clicky , the sticks are responsive and accurate. It comes with about as many features and possibilities as I can think of, probably more than I will ever use. The ability to using a few simple button presses to designate the extra buttons on the fly is very useful.
I don´t really love the back paddle design as they sometimes rub against my fingers and sometimes I almost pop them off the controller when I grip it the "wrong" way during gameplay. Would have preferred flat buttons or paddles that lock into place but it´s a minor issue I will probably get used to over time.
The biggest complaint I have so far is the app being partially in Chinese and stuck on my phone meaning having to go through the trouble of connecting to the phone via bluetooth and not having a desktop app that connects easily via the dongle or cable.
I mean I´m already using the controller ON the pc so it´s already connected to that , I don´t want to have to connect to another device to do settings adjustments.
But once you have your important settings down how often do you need to mess with settings anyway?
Personally, not often so since the device hits the important marks of being accurate and being nice to hold I give it top score.
