Great Support

My Beitong Pangu finally arrived, and after using it for a while, I’m pretty impressed. The fully modular design is probably my favorite part. You can move the sticks, buttons, and back buttons around however you want, or swap them out for different modules. The TMR sticks feel accurate, and the mechanical buttons are really satisfying to press.

It comes with two back buttons by default, but I bought the four-back-button module separately and definitely prefer it that way.

I did have a small issue with the tracking after my order was shipped because it stopped updating for a few days. I emailed Gadgethyper and they checked with the shipping company for me. It started moving again shortly after, and they even followed up to make sure it arrived. That definitely made me feel more comfortable ordering from them.

Better than my old one

My PS5 controller kept getting stick drift, and I finally got tired of dealing with it. Picked up the fully modular Beitong controller and set it up with a PS5-style layout. Been using it for PC gaming and honestly, it feels just as good as my old PS5 controller. Really happy with it so far.

Agonisingly close to perfect

And it really is close, was surprising how comfortable to hold it is, and it being the only modern controller able to have a Wii U layout is great for all three of us who swear by this weirdo layout, but there's just a few small issues that hold it back for me.

While it's good overall, the quality doesn't *quite* feel up to the amount it costs, for example one of my sticks seems to have developed a burr on the inside that can snag it at a very specific point. But that's also not actually a problem because of the modularity! I just swapped it to the right stick that I barely use, and I was going to swap the sticks for hall effect sticks anyway, but it still speaks to the overall quality. The vibration's pretty poor as well, but it only became that way through a firmware update, so I wouldn't be surprised if it improves at some point (oh and like someone else said, the software's not the greatest, although once you learn its quirks it's not too bad imo).

The real Achilles heel, though, is the function buttons. The row of three buttons on the bottom of the controller are terribly placed and you WILL press them putting it into its charging cradle. I don't know what possessed them to put the home button there, but it's an awful place for it and I'm constantly bringing up game bar when I put it onto the charger. What's on the front of the controller then? Well it's some "AI Overlay" button that I completely ignore, because I don't need another overlay clogging up my system, but I still accidentally press constantly thinking it's a home button. And the annoying part is that you can't rebind it yet, the software seems like it could be rebound at some point, but for now there's no option and it's the only real black mark against this controller.

Which is a shame, really, because if it wasn't for that and the quality/price it'd be an instant recommend, but as-is it's still a recommend (with caveats) at least.

Oh but that Wii U layout thing really should be a big selling point because MAN is it comfy lmao.

Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback.

We greatly appreciate your input. We have noted your feedback on the buttons and workmanship and will forward your suggestions to the Beitong development team. Your feedback helps them improve the product. Thank you for recommending it despite knowing its shortcomings!

Nice pangu controller

Pretty good overall. I like being able to install the buttons I want, and it definitely helps with not accidentally hitting the wrong one. The controller feels great so far. I was a little unsure about ordering from GadgetHyper at first, but everything went smoothly. I got updates on my order, and the packaging was solid when it arrived. Would definitely order from you again.

Better Than I Expected

Honestly, I’m pretty impressed with this controller. It feels really good in hand, gameplay is smooth, and I really like being able to remap the buttons. Didn’t expect to like it this much, but I’ve been really happy with it so far.

good controller with annoying software

good controller for tinkerers, but the software holds it back. wish it had more than one profile available when using non standard layouts.

FUN controller

This Beitong controller is actually really fun to use.
Every section is modular — you can swap pretty much everything, even the vibration motors. There are a lot of different module options, so it feels super flexible.
It’s kind of cool being able to experience different setups all on the same controller just by changing parts around.
Definitely one of the more “fun” controllers I’ve tried 😄

Modular controller feels surprisingly flexible

Been using this controller for a bit now.

The vibration is actually better than I expected, makes gameplay feel more “alive” in a way.

The modular thing is the main reason I got it. You can just swap parts around depending on what you’re playing, which is kind of fun and way more flexible than normal controllers. FPS, action games, whatever — you can just adjust it until it feels right.

White version looks really clean in person, and it was pretty easy to put together.

Feels-wise it’s kind of similar to the KP70 in terms of grip and button feel, maybe even better if you’ve got bigger hands.

Customization is basically the main point here. Once you get used to it, normal fixed-layout controllers feel kind of limiting.

Nice controller

This is honestly a controller worth highlighting.
The real standout is the full modular design. You can swap everything — sticks, buttons, grips, even the rumble motors. It also lets you build different layouts like Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, or even more niche setups like triple-stick configs. Basically, one controller covers almost every game type I play — fighting games, FPS, racing, you name it — so I don’t really need multiple controllers anymore.
Swapping modules is surprisingly fast too. You can do it by hand in under 10 seconds, and so far repeated swaps haven’t caused any looseness. I’ll keep using it long-term and see how durability holds up.
The software side is also smarter than I expected. It auto-detects modules after swapping and even remembers different layout profiles for different games, so I don’t have to keep reconfiguring everything every time. That alone makes it really convenient.

Love the Modular Design

I was honestly pretty excited to open this when it arrived. The modular setup is probably my favorite part since I can swap things around depending on what I’m playing. Everything feels really solid in hand too, and the packaging was actually nicer than I expected.

Swapping the modules is pretty straightforward. The connectors make it hard to put anything in the wrong way, which is nice. I also like that you can take out the vibration motors if you don’t really use them and want a lighter controller.

The other big plus is that if something goes wrong with one module, you can replace that part instead of having to buy a whole new controller. I haven’t used it long enough to say how the connections will hold up over time, so that’s something I’ll be watching. But so far, I’m really happy with it. It looks great and feels really well made.

Top tier!!!

I love the controller, and the D-pad is my favorite feature since you can position it like a DualShock. I also liked that the buttons are clicky, which is great for fighting games.

First impressions are good

Got the Pangu controller today.
In terms of feel, it’s pretty similar to the KP70 and other controllers in that range. The default modules feel good — the sticks are smooth, and the abxy feel nice and clicky, pretty much as advertised.
Everything feels responsive overall, no noticeable delay so far. The sticks glide smoothly too.
I also like that you can freely switch between symmetrical and asymmetrical layouts, which is pretty flexible depending on what you prefer.
Overall, the experience has been on the positive side.

great controller, had some issues on the way it was seated but need to remove both modules before reattaching everything. I suggest requesting that Gadhyper to reach out to Beitong to get all the modules so we can know we are getting them from a trust source. it is a very accurate fighting game controller since i use my whole thumb to input with the omni directional d-pad.

Great design and support

This controller has been used for a couple of days now, and honestly it’s pretty impressive.

It looks really nice in person — way more “wow” than I expected — and the modular concept is actually super interesting. You don’t really have to stress about grip or feel anymore; if something doesn’t suit you, you just swap the module and you’re good to go. Would love to see more module options in the future.

Also worth mentioning, Gadgethyper’s support has been really solid. Any questions I had were handled quickly and smoothly.

The controller is excellent in fighting games but I think it needs a firmware update - Steam keeps briefly disconnecting the controller. I'm having trouble finding the software to download to update it. the Beitong website doesn't show anything on the support page.
