At GadgetHyper, we love seeing a product evolve from a prototype to a polished piece of gear. Our partners over at Leadjoy have been doing exactly that. After debuting their first-ever PC controller—the Xeno Plus—at TGS 2025, the team has spent the last six months in deep "development mode" to refine every trigger pull and button click.
Today, we are thrilled to announce that Leadjoy is opening the gates for Open Beta Registration, and they want the GadgetHyper community to be the first to break it in.
A Message from Leadjoy
Leadjoy’s Overseas Manager, Akiyama, shared the excitement regarding the launch:
"Since showcasing our controller at TGS 2025, we've been refining every detail to ensure a flawless launch. After six months of meticulous adjustments, we're thrilled to finally present our product to you!"
Why They Need Your Help
The Xeno Plus is nearly ready for prime time. However, before the official global launch, Leadjoy is looking for dedicated PC gamers to put the hardware through its paces. The goal of this beta test is to:
Evaluate Firmware: Ensure the connection and response times are lightning-fast.
Stress Test Stability: See how the controller handles different genres and long gaming sessions.
Localization Check: Identifying any linguistic or UI tweaks needed for the global market.
The Ultimate Perk: Keep the Gear
This isn't just a "loaner" program. Leadjoy is looking for genuine feedback, and as a thank you for your time and expertise, all selected beta testers will get to keep the Xeno Plus controller after the testing phase is complete. It’s a permanent addition to your setup!
How to Apply
Whether you’re a competitive FPS player, a Soulslike veteran, or a casual indie gamer, as long as you have a PC, you are eligible to apply.
Application Period: From now until February 24th, 23:59 (Beijing Time).
Requirement: An active PC setup and a willingness to provide honest feedback.
