Clarification on Customs Duties & Import Charges

Effective for qualifying retail orders — Updated February 2026

Short Answer

You will not pay additional customs or import duties at delivery for qualifying retail orders — the checkout price is the final price.

What We Cover

For qualifying retail purchases placed through our official website and shipped to addresses in the United States and most EU member states, GadgetHyper has been pre-paying and absorbing applicable customs and import duties on behalf of customers.

Customers therefore do not need to make any additional payments to carriers or customs authorities for these orders.

How It Works in Practice

In cases where customs or the carrier requests payment or additional documentation, our team will work with the customer and the carrier to resolve the issue. We handle payment of duties where applicable and will not require customers to pay those charges separately for qualifying retail website orders.

If You Are Charged at Delivery

If you are asked to pay customs or import duties on a qualifying retail order, please retain any receipts or delivery documents and contact us immediately.

Future Changes

We will continue to monitor regulatory and tariff developments and will update this page if our policy or coverage changes. Any change will be announced publicly in advance.
