Precision Rings (DP-100) are now available at gxxktron.com for $9.99 a set. Each set holds three pairs of high-density foam rings — Soft, Medium and Hard — that slip over a full-size analog stick and add smooth, graduated resistance to every movement, so your crosshair settles on the target instead of sailing past it. They fit the controllers most players already own, including the PS5 DualSense, Xbox Wireless and Switch Pro Controller, plus select models from Flydigi, Beitong, LEADJOY and GameSir. The one exception: Joy-Con sticks are too small.
What are Precision Rings?
A Precision Ring is a small band of high-density foam — about 20 mm across, 8 mm on the inside and 5 mm tall — that slides over the stick and settles snug around its base. A bare stick gives you no resistance until it hits the gate; a ring adds graduated resistance from the first degree of tilt, and the further you push, the more it pushes back. That is the whole mechanism, and it changes two things: fast flicks stop overshooting, because the foam slows the stick as the crosshair closes in, and hard pushes land cushioned instead of ending in a slam. With overshoot under control, higher sensitivity stops feeling like a gamble and starts feeling usable.

Soft, Medium or Hard — which one is yours?
The three pairs look identical at a glance, but the foam density differs — 0.20, 0.25 and 0.38 g/cm³ — and density is what sets the resistance.
Soft
Keeps the stick quick and agile — built for racing, sports and any game where speed beats fine aim.
Medium
Balanced damping that steadies the crosshair without slowing your flicks — the place to start if you are not sure yet.
Hard
The most resistance of the three, turning big stick movements into tiny adjustments — for snipers and patient, tactical aim.
Because the resistance comes from the foam itself, each pair is tuned to stand alone — stacking two rings is not how you get more.

Will Precision Rings fit your controller?
If it is a full-size controller, almost certainly. The flexible foam slides over any standard full-size stick and settles snug around the base — no measuring, no model lookup — and it has been verified across PS5 DualSense, Xbox Wireless and Switch Pro controllers, plus select models from Flydigi, Beitong, LEADJOY and GameSir. Joy-Con sticks are the one exception: they are simply too small.
FAQ
Do precision rings actually work?
They work through a simple mechanism: graduated resistance. A bare stick moves freely until it hits the gate, so fast flicks tend to sail past the target. A foam ring pushes back from the first degree of tilt, which slows the stick as your crosshair closes in. No electronics, no software — just controlled resistance.
Soft, medium or hard — which should I choose?
Medium if you are unsure — balanced damping that steadies aim without slowing your flicks. Soft suits racing and sports, Hard suits sniping and tactical play. Every set includes a pair of each, so you can find your feel by playing rather than guessing.
Can I combine two rings for more resistance?
No. Each pair is tuned to a single resistance through its foam density, and stacking them throws that tuning off.
Will precision rings fit Joy-Con controllers?
No — Joy-Con sticks are too small. Precision Rings fit full-size controllers only: PS5 DualSense, Xbox Wireless, Switch Pro and select third-party pads.
Do precision rings affect recentering?
The foam springs back quickly after every push, so the stick recenters cleanly, and because it is high-density foam, it holds its shape under long-term pressure instead of going flat.
