We're Launching Our Own Brand: Meet GXXKTRON — and Our First Product Needs Your Hands
Hey everyone — Ray from GadgetHyper here, with something a little different today.
After years of curating and selling other people's controllers and gear, we decided it was time to build something of our own. So today I'm genuinely excited to introduce GXXKTRON — a geek-driven gaming gear brand born right here from the GadgetHyper team.
Meet Control Thumb Grip Caps
Our first product is small in size but not in ambition. Made from high-friction rubber with three distinct surface textures, Control Thumb Grip Caps are built to do one thing — give your thumbs more control.
They come in two versions:
The Full-Size Fit
Fits PS5 DualSense and DualSense Edge, the Switch 2 Pro Controller, and most third-party full-size controllers (GameSir, Beitong, Flydigi, and friends).
One honest note: it does NOT fit Xbox controllers.
The Joy-Con Fit
Made exclusively for Switch 2 Joy-Cons.
Control isn't on sale yet — but it's almost here, launching almost immediately after the sign-up window closes. And beyond launch day, we want Control living in the hands of real players, not just on a product page.

The sign-up page is live NOW through September 11. Drop your email and you'll be the first to know the moment Control goes live — launch news and first access go to subscribers before anyone else.
Join the GXXKTRON Discord
This is where the brand actually lives. Launch news first, votes on what we build next, betas, giveaways — and a direct line to the team building it. If you've ever wanted to influence a product before it exists, this is that room.
Become an Honest Hand
This is the fun one — and it's not a one-off campaign. Our Experience Officer program is an ongoing thing, and it works like this:
- You get: a free set of Control Thumb Grips — shipping's on us.
- You play: use them in your own games, on your own setup.
- You share: post your honest experience anywhere you like — the product visible in your post, videos at least a minute long, tag @GXXKTRON or link gxxktron.com, and send us the link via Discord DM once it's live.
Anything genuine counts — what the grips do, how they feel on your controller, your desk setup. We repost our favorites on official channels, and sharers get first pick on future GXXKTRON programs.
Two asks: you must be 18 or older, and please disclose you got the product free (#gifted) per your platform's rules — honesty is the whole point. Spots are limited; we review applications on a rolling basis and reply by email. The form only asks for your country — your full address comes later, only if you're approved.
Why We're Doing It This Way
We could have launched Control the normal way: product page, ads, done. But that's never been the brand we wanted GXXKTRON to be.
The Experience Officer program doesn't end at launch — it starts there. Real players getting the product free, putting it through their own games, and posting honest takes: a community that keeps creating, keeps us honest, and keeps shaping what we build next. Not a one-off campaign, but a permanent conversation between us and the people who actually play.
That's the brand we want GXXKTRON to be.
