Welcome back to the Pro Controller Weekly Roundup, Vol.12. This week: GameSir, Flydigi, Beitong, Mojhon, Thunderobot, LEADJOY, iQOO, and a rumor about Apple making a controller. Let's get into it.

Phantom Blade Zero Collab, Plus Fortnite

GameSir kicked things off this week by unveiling a Phantom Blade Zero edition of the G7 Pro 8K — and they promoted it by bringing out Lo Mang, the martial arts actor you might recognize from Ip Man 2. Points for style.

Over on the international side, GameSir also officially announced a batch of Fortnite collab controllers in a whole spread of loud, colorful designs. Pricing and release timing are still TBD for both.

An Entire Collab Universe, Nine Controllers at Once

Flydigi didn't announce a controller this week — they announced a universe. In one go, the company showed off nine models:

• Apex 6 Pro — Phantom Blade Zero edition — $209.99
• Apex 6 — Arknights: Endfield edition —$249.99
• Apex 6 — Honkai: Star Rail edition — $199.99
• Apex 6 Pro — Zenless Zone Zero edition — $259.99
• Apex 6 Pro — Rei Ayanami edition — displayed at TGS; pricing TBD
• Vader 5S Pro — displayed at TGS; pricing TBD
• Vader 5S Ultra — EVA Unit-01 edition — displayed at TGS; pricing TBD

That's classic anime IPs, the hottest gacha games, and a chinese AAA title, all covered in one sweep. At this point we're half expecting a Chinese animation collab just to complete the set.

New Collab Silhouette, Probably a KP70

Beitong dropped a teaser silhouette for a new collab — this time with Neverness to Everness. Based on what's visible in the image, the base controller is very likely the Kunpeng 70 (KP70). Design details and pricing are still under wraps.

Kekelong N2E, an "Elite" Controller for Switch

Mojhon revealed the Kekelong N2E, its next-generation controller for Nintendo's platform. From what's been shared so far, this is positioned as an elite-grade NS controller — and combined with the earlier silhouette teasers, it's very likely packing four back buttons plus four mini shoulder buttons, which would make it the most input-rich NS controller out there. With more and more AAA games landing on Nintendo's platform, the timing makes sense. Price TBD.

G3 Ultra Sneaks Out

Thunderobot quietly released the G3 Ultra, an 8K controller with high-precision Hall effect sticks. Full specs aren't public yet, but the fully transparent shell plus those sticks definitely looks interesting. Price TBD.

A Competitive Edition, Announced and Then... Cancelled

A short but strange one. LEADJOY announced a competitive/esports edition of the Xeno, reportedly planned with a white shell, full micro-switch buttons, JS13 Pro sticks, and a PS5-style gyro — a spec sheet aimed squarely at Apex Legends-style FPS play.

Then, in an official reply on September 17, the company confirmed the edition has been cancelled. Pour one out — or file it under "maybe someday."

A Telescopic Controller with Mini Shoulder Buttons

Phone maker iQOO released a telescopic mobile controller that — unusually for the category — includes mini shoulder buttons. The more interesting bit: from the product images, it looks a LOT like GameSir's hardware, and the community is openly speculating it's a GameSir rebrand. Nothing confirmed either way, but the resemblance is doing a lot of talking.

A First-Party Controller Rumor

Finally, a rumor worth watching: reports suggest Apple is working on a controller for iOS and macOS. Software-side support has apparently started showing up, and the hardware may be developed under Beats. File this firmly under "rumor" for now — but if Apple actually ships a first-party gamepad, that's a very interesting shake-up for the mobile/controller space.
